Courage story · The Shipwreck · Acts 27
Day 03
Take Some Food
“Today is the fourteenth day that you wait and continue fasting, having taken nothing. Therefore I beg you to take some food; for this is for your safety; for not a hair will perish from any of your heads.”
Acts 27:33–35
Reflection
With the ship about to break up, the leadership move was a meal. Crisis convinces you that ordinary care is a luxury, and the opposite is true — eating, sleeping and resting are what make endurance possible.
Pray
Father, I have been running on nothing and calling it urgency. Return me to basic care. Let me eat, sleep, and keep going at a pace a body can survive.
Amen.
Declare
Ordinary care is not a distraction from the crisis.
Today’s practice
Do one physical thing you have been skipping: a real meal, water, an hour of sleep, a walk outside.
