A prayer companion for fear
Steady, when fear will not sit still.
At 3 a.m., before the hearing, in the waiting room — Stand is one tap from a guided moment that slows your breathing and returns you to what is true. Then it becomes a daily practice for standing steady.
Free. No account. Works offline, and what you write stays on your device.
When fear spikes
Ninety seconds, always one tap away
A breathing pacer, one anchoring verse, a short spoken prayer, a declaration. It ends by asking whether you are steadier, and chains another round if you are not.
It works with no signal, no voices installed, and storage blocked — it degrades to text and a breathing animation, never to a blank screen. Crisis-support resources stay visible throughout.

Not mockups — these are captures of the running app, regenerated from it, so they cannot promise something it does not do.
What’s inside
What Stand does
Twenty guided journeys
The 30-day journey through the armor of Ephesians; focused journeys for fear of the unknown and fear at night; and seventeen four-day courage stories, each built on one biblical account — the furnace, the giant, the den, the storm, the shipwreck.
Start from the fear itself
Say it plainly — “I have a court date”, “I’m afraid for my child”, “I don’t know how I’m going to pay for it” — and Stand opens the journey that meets it, at the first day you have not finished. Browse them all.
A prayer, composed for the moment
Choose a kind and an intention and Stand composes a whole prayer from a reviewed corpus, with room to name a personal intention. Nothing is generated at the moment of use: every line it can say is written down and reviewable.
English and Spanish
Every prayer and every label carries both languages, and the same prayer can be shown in both at once, the way a bilingual prayer book sets them. The traditional prayers are grouped and named, including those that are specifically Roman Catholic devotions, and each has its own page in the Prayer Book, with the Rosary and its mysteries for each day.
Read aloud, at your pace
Every day and every prayer can be spoken, with adjustable speed, a repeat mode, and a 5–30 minute sleep timer for night-time listening. Prayers pause where their own pacing says to, so you can pray along rather than just listen.
Your own evidence
A one-tap check-in before and after — “where is your fear right now?” — builds a quiet ledger over time, so you can see how your own fear moves from before prayer to after, rather than take anyone’s word for it.
A private journal
Notes on any day, gathered in one place you can read back and download as a text file. Favorites, completed days, and a streak that survives switching between journeys.
Yours to keep
Back everything up as a file and restore it on another device, or erase all of it in one action. No account, no sign-up, no analytics following you around.
How it works
Privacy, plainly
Stand has no account and no server to sign in to. Your notes, your progress, your check-ins and your prayers stay in your own browser’s storage, on your own device. There is nothing for anyone to read, because none of it is sent anywhere.
That is also why backup is a file you download and keep, rather than a cloud someone else holds. The devotional content is reviewable in the open too: the prayer corpus is a plain data file, and prayers are composed from it rather than generated, so what the app can say is knowable in advance.
Stand supports spiritual practice. It is not treatment for an anxiety disorder, and it points to real help when fear feels unmanageable.
Start where you are.
You do not have to begin at day one, and you do not have to know which journey you need. Open the app, say what you are afraid of, and it will take you to the right place.
